My goodness. All you have to do is change your profile text. Your expectations must be advertised outside of your blog post. Then the millionaires can fight over you!

(Just got off the phone with a dear friend who lives on Kauai...it sounds so wonderful. She surfs, and says the whale season is just beginning, all the mamas and babies migrating south. Her favorite thing in life is surfing with the whales.)

I dunno...I might be too happy under those circumstances, and, heck, I wouldn't know how to handle that.

Gypsy,
You'll be pleased to learn I was thinking about this post as I drove home from school today. And the question that came up was as follows: What's so unreasonable about Gypsy's wish for a millionaire and relocation to Hawaii? Answer: Absolutely nothing. I like the old cliche: ask and you shall receive.. I see no problem in making your wishes known and carrying on with your day-to-day stuff.. I was serious with what I said before. You should really overhaul the profile as an initial measure towards "living the dream." As much as I'm always asking "why?," I have equal or more passion for "why not?" Pleasant dreams. It's your world to fashion for your happiness.

Funny, all I would like to meet someone rich (and good looking) who is not boring, fall in love with her (and she with me), and travel the world together...

Oh, Paradox, you are so sweet... I am pleased, indeed...and yes, there isn't anything unreasonable about wanting to be able to just relax and do what you like doing, and appreciate someone who has the ability to provide all that, and, of course, we must fall in love, I do mention that... Wanting to be independent from the daily work grind - I think that's everyone's secret wish. And thanks for your advice on the profile, Paradox, you may be right!

Satori, haha, we were just discussing this topic with ebbsnflows this afternoon! Surfing with the whales must be unbelieavably, amazingly exhilarating, beyond description (not that I would ever have the guts to try that)

Right next to the electric ear muffins and just below the Nigerian kitchen utensils.

In somewhat similar vein as a Janist praying for forgiveness before consuming other like-minded creatures, it is said that my 3.5 degrees of separation (about 6 ft.) can cure cancer, induce winning the lottery, grow additional sex organs, prevent allergies if 50 meters north of the equator, make bad breath go away in order to not concern yourself with world peace, reinvent the wheel so the globe isn't crooked...

Gypsy, I'm getting a lot of "bang for my buck" from this little post of yours as now I'm reflecting on the idea of "boredom," or being "bored" by others.. Frankly, I don't know if I've been "bored" by other people. Is being bored by others an outgrowth of being bored yourself? I can't ever recall myself being bored in my lifetime.. Maybe my "daydreaming" has been provoked by those who aren't stimulating. Am I getting somewhere here? Is that what you're looking for, stimulation? The more that I think about this, I don't know if I've ever had a gal friend who really stimulated me. Maybe that's why the relationship thing for me has been such a drag.. I want to talk about everything. There's so much to talk about. There's a world of things to talk about. Where have the "thinkers" been in my life? I don't think Camille Paglia would date me, so I have to look elsewhere.. Oh, I'm going adrift here.. Let me go get lost in my tomato soup. See ya later.

Paradox, you often either make me laugh or bring tears to my eyes Like you, I hardly ever get bored, unless I am chained to a chair in a 3-hour long corporate meeting which ain't happening nowadays And even then I find things with which to occupy myself. But...yes, there is such a thing as a boring partner, and he or she could be either a millionaire, or someone on welfare, it doesn't matter. You are right, it's not about wanting the partner to entertain you or me, it's about being stimulating and challenging for each other, it's about interaction, about dynamics, about growth (yikes, I hate that word, heheh)
I am glad you are thinking, your gray matter is operational

Okay, somewhere in here, this quote I posted on FB today kinda fits. You tell me where if you see it. I've had a lotta wine tonight and and slightly nummmmmmb.......

"Just once a day, imagine the life you dream of and believe that it can be yours. In this world, choose to live as if you know of its inevitable manifestation. Don't compromise, don't worry, don't look for results, and as surely as Spirit crafts one moment after another, so too will it fuse together the life you now lead with the life of your dreams, as if they were two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle destined to become one."
